Not too long ago I did a step by step demonstration for “the South African Artist” magazine which now appears in their January/February 2013 issue. I was asked to do it with Faber-Castell, “Art Grip Aquarelle”, pencils which was great fun coming up with a technique to make use of the water and pencil combinations.

I chose to do the horse, Rafa, which I will need to do a big oil painting of very soon so this little sketch was some good practise.
